Rocklahoma Wraps 18th Year With 75,000 Music Fans

75,000 music fans came together to celebrate Labor Day weekend at Rocklahoma at Rockin Red Dirt Ranch in Pryor, Oklahoma August 30 through Sunday, September 1, continuing an 18-year tradition in the rock and metal community in America.

2024 was the biggest lineup yet for Rocklahoma and featured many unforgettable performances, led by Avenged Sevenfold, Evanescence, and Halestorm on Friday; Disturbed, A Day To Remember, and Skillet on Saturday; and Slipknot, Lamb of God, and Mastodon on Sunday. The festival also featured an impressive roster of top rock and metal acts, including Clutch, Nothing More, Kerry King, and Tom Keifer, among others.

These were some of the exclusive highlights and special moments at Rocklahoma 2024:

●      Slipknot is celebrating 25 years of their self-titled album and the band’s Sunday night closing set featured exclusively Slipknot songs from 1999 or earlier.

●      Disturbed’s Saturday night headlining performance included a special duet with vocalist Royale Lynn (who performed at the festival earlier that day) and David Draiman on Disturbed’s song “Don’t Tell Me.”

●      Avenged Sevenfold’s blistering set was their first Rocklahoma appearance and final performance of 2024.

●      Lamb of God celebrated 20 years of their Ashes of the Wake album with a special set that featured songs from that album as well as other fan favorites.

●      Mastodon performed their landmark Leviathan album in its entirety to mark its 20th anniversary.

●      Nothing More’s captivating set showcased their new album Carnal, featuring the #1 rock radio hit "If It Doesn't Hurt."

●      A Day To Remember made their Rocklahoma debut and immediately won over the crowd with their infectious sound and dynamic performance, complete with confetti explosions.

●      Kerry King and his band performed solo for the first time at Rocklahoma, playing Slayer hits and songs from his debut solo album, From Hell I Rise.

●      Sleep Theory’s Saturday performance (rescheduled from Friday) turned into an unexpected spectacle, with thousands of fans packing the festival’s Roadhouse tent, marking the largest audience ever for the Rocklahoma DEB Concerts Stage. The band has gained a devout fanbase with viral hits and the #2 rock song in the country.

●      The Plot In You’s Sunday set included their massive single “Left Behind,” which has over 30 million Spotify streams and is gaining momentum.

●      Clutch’s performance included almost the entire Blast Tyrant album, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

In addition to nonstop rock, the wildest tailgates and after-hours parties in the Rocklahoma campground--with more than 5,000 campsites--the festivities at America's Biggest Labor Day Weekend Party also included the annual Miss Rocklahoma competition. This year, Audra McAnally from Benton, Arkansas was crowned Miss Rocklahoma 2024, making her the first Arkansan to hold the title.

Rocklahoma also gives back to the community via the Pryor Area Foundation, raising $73,000 this year for local charities via exclusive autographed guitars auctioned off on stage during the event. The foundation promotes community and area beautification, rural economic and esthetic development and community volunteer projects for disadvantaged public-school students in and around the Mayes County area.
