The Ardmore Music Hall team has been working nonstop to bring the joy of live music to fans missing a summers’ worth of touring acts, festivals, and local shows due to nationwide restrictions. As the only venue in the Greater Philadelphia area with built-in, multi-camera HD video infrastructure thanks to the streaming titans at Nugs.net, the music hall will broadcast the first live concert from their stage in three months on Saturday, June 20 with Talking Heads tribute Start Making Sense.
Bethlehem, PA’s own Start Making Sense will kick off this Saturday’s proceedings at 8:30pm with a full two-set, audience-free concert complete with halftime entertainment in between sets. The entire live webcast will be free with an optional tip jar for those who would like to donate to the band and venue. Paid perks for fans who desire a more interactive experience will also be available, including purchase of a live audio recording of the show and bonus material.
As an added incentive, the first 100 fans to donate to the tip jar will receive access to an exclusive Zoom dance party during the live webcast, where fans will be able to engage with one another and the band, send song requests and showcase their best living room dance moves to a national audience. More chances to win exclusive prizes via gamified tipping, such as free tickets to a future concert(s), will be available during the show.
