Grateful Web is thrilled to announce that legendary bluegrass ensemble Leftover Salmon, featuring Bluegrass luminary Peter Rowan, will perform a two-night extravaganza at the iconic Boulder Theater on Friday, November 24, and Saturday, November 25, 2023. This event promises to be a feast of melodious mastery, with very special guests Banshee Tree on the 24th and Sicard Hollow on the 25th adding their unique blends to the mix.
A preeminent force in the music world for over three decades, Leftover Salmon’s potent blend of bluegrass, rock, country, and Cajun/Zydeco, which they effortlessly fuse into a genre-busting sound, has cemented their status as one of the most influential and innovative bands of their generation.
With the recent release of their latest album, "Brand New Good Old Days," the band continues to redefine their sound while remaining true to their roots. The band's current lineup - the longest-running in its storied history - includes founding members Drew Emmitt and Vince Herman, banjo maestro Andy Thorn, bassist Greg Garrison, drummer Alwyn Robinson, and dobro player & keyboardist Jay Starling.
Leftover Salmon has long been lauded as pioneers of the Jamgrass genre, continuously breaking the bonds of traditional bluegrass with their unique approach and progressive thinking. The forthcoming Boulder Theater shows promise to be another testament to their vast influence and enduring appeal.
