For more than five decades, the legendary Telluride Bluegrass Festival has been a bucket-list destination for live music devotees all over the world. Fans and artists alike come together in a shared appreciation for music, with jam sessions springing up spontaneously in the festival grounds, on nearby hiking trails, and in the town itself. This could be your year—tickets are still available!

This year’s headliners include Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Alison Krauss and Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas, Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, and Lake Street Dive. They are joined by the legendary Sam Bush, up-and-coming country sensation Zach Top, festival favorites Greensky Bluegrass, Punch Brothers, Yonder Mountain String Band, and others.

This year’s lineup has a historic number of first-time performers, including Toy Factory Project (a supergroup dedicated to the music of Toy Caldwell), Kasey Chambers, New Dangerfield, Rainbow Girls, The Bygones, Olive Klug, Ken Pomeroy, Mountain Grass Unit, Authentic Unlimited, Caleb Klauder & Reeb Willms, and Water Tower.

What sets the Telluride Bluegrass Festival apart is not only its stunning backdrop of verdant aspens and alpine tundras but also the tight-knit community that festival producers, Planet Bluegrass, have cultivated. The Planet Bluegrass ethos is grounded in friendly practices (no ticketing fees, free admittance for children 12 and under), shared harmonious experiences, and a focus on enjoying the present moment.

“We’re so pleased with how this year’s lineup has taken shape,” says Planet Bluegrass’ Grace Barrett. “Telluride Bluegrass is so steeped in tradition, and it’s a joy for us to be able to showcase so many new artists, and bring back some who haven’t joined us for upwards of twenty years! We’re really glad to have tickets and camping still available to give new fans the opportunity to experience the magic of this event without having to navigate the extra fees and confusion that come with buying from third-party resellers.”

Single-day and full weekend passes are available here, as well as camping passes for Lawson Hill and Mary E Ilium, which can be found here. For any further information, please visit bluegrass.com.
