As TheBigWonderful prepares to celebrate its 5th anniversary this upcoming weekend, May 5th & 6th at the Old Denver Post Building, Denver’s premiere popup curators behind BEERFEST, BLUEGRASS and BAZAAR are excited to announce a special Leftover Salmon Something Higher record release performance and album signing on Sunday, May 6th at TheBigWonderful. Leftover Salmon will join the big birthday and Derby weekend bash, performing their signature slamgrass and music off their new album on Sunday at 3 PM. The Colorado bluegrass legends will be selling and signing copies of their new album Something Higher (available May 4th, 2018) onsite after their performance, adding a unique record store experience to the Bazaar.
TheBigWonderful are excited to ring in its 5th birthday at the old Denver Post headquarters in Globeville (4400 Fox St.) on Saturday, May 5th and Sunday, May 6th from 12PM-6PM. The 5th anniversary of Derby Weekend welcomes over 100 of the city’s best craft vendors and makers, a selection of the tastiest Denver food trucks serving up a diverse menu, and a stacked BEERFEST with over 20 breweries, cideries and distilleries pouring unlimited samples throughout the weekend. Falling on Cinco de Mayo and Kentucky Derby weekend, TheBigWonderful will have drink specials, the big race playing on multiple TVs, yoga Saturday morning from 11:30am – 12:30pm hosted by YogaPod, and many more family -- and dog -- friendly activities planned.
Saturday’s soundtrack is provided by Part & Parcel, The Jauntee’s ‘Jauntgrass’ and Banshee Tree with Leftover Salmon giving a special performance on Sunday.
