In the many months spent creating and then promoting this year's Join Us, They Might Be Giants recorded several new tracks, not all of which made it onto the album. The band has compiled the best of these recordings to create a brand new full-length, made up of rarities and many previously unheard tracks. An eclectic follow-up to their latest LP, the Brooklyn rockers release Album Raises New and Troubling Questions today on Idlewild Recordings. This special digital-only release can be purchased on iTunes, Amazon and directly from the band’s official website. Included in the album’s tracklisting are a live version of the track “Cloisonné” only previously heard on its official video as well as the band’s now-infamous performance of “Tubthumping” from The Onion AV Club’s “Undercover Series,” along with four tracks featuring the “Other Thing Brass Band.” The album also treats fans to five bonus videos, including one for “You Probably Get That A Lot” which you can watch where it premiered with Consequence of Sound today or HERE. You can also check out today's Rolling Stone interview with TMBG about the album, it’s creation and what to expect from the band next. They Might Be Giants will be bringing their unique brand of rock and energized live show to cities across the US—be sure to catch them live in a city near you!
