It was our intention to reschedule the shows for a later date as opposed to canceling but due to the current climate and the uncertainty of when that would be, we made the difficult decision to cancel.

VOODOO DEAD is coming back to Colorado for the first time since November 2018. The 2020 powerhouse line-up features guitar wizard Steve Kimock on lead, Dead & Company’s Jeff Chimenti on keys, George Porter Jr., the King of New Orleans bass, and John Morgan Kimock (Mike Gordon) on drums. They will be joined by a special guest yet to be announced...
It’s hard to imagine a better match than the spirit of New Orleans with the vibe of the Grateful Dead, so Voodoo Dead just seems to make perfect sense. Since Debuting in 2015 at the NOLA Jazz Festival Voodoo Dead, with slightly varied lineups (with Kimock and Chimenti participating in all shows to date), it’s gone on from just an idea to becoming an annual, late-night staple at JazzFest as well as popping up in clubs around the country. The band embodies a celebratory vibe with a serious depth of improvisation that sets it apart.
Last time Voodoo Dead sold out the smaller Fox Theatre well before the show (it was a snowy Sunday night too) -- that being said, this Thursday night in early April will no doubt sell out as well, so snag your tickets now!
With the concern of general health safety, we apologize that we must postpone the Voodoo Dead performance on April 9th at the Boulder Theater to a new date. All existing tickets will be honored.
