Celebrated music photographer Michael Weintrob is set to host a special benefit event on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at his Nashville studio. The event will showcase his renowned "Instrumenthead" series, featuring portraits of Widespread Panic members, including rare images of the late guitarist Michael Houser. Attendees can look forward to a book signing and a raffle of vintage prints, with all proceeds supporting the Tunes for Tots charity.

Weintrob's "Instrumenthead" project is a distinctive collection of portraits where musicians are photographed with their instruments obscuring their faces, symbolizing their musical identities. This innovative approach has captured the essence of over 800 artists across various genres. The project has been compiled into two acclaimed coffee table books: "Instrumenthead" and its companion "Instrumenthead Revealed," which unveils the faces behind the instruments.

The upcoming exhibit not only celebrates Widespread Panic's musical legacy but also underscores Weintrob's commitment to philanthropy. By directing proceeds to Tunes for Tots, the event aims to provide musical instruments and education to underprivileged children, fostering the next generation of musicians.
