Following a spectacular inaugural year that attracted 15,000 fans, Shaquille O’Neal’s "Shaq's Bass All Stars Festival" is set to make a triumphant return. On November 16, 2024, Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth, Texas, will once again be transformed into the epicenter of the bass music scene, promising an even more massive and electrifying experience than before.

Shoe Fest is thrilled to announce the lineup for its 13th annual celebration, taking place over Labor Day weekend (August 30 – September 1, 2024) at the picturesque Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See in Manteno, IL. This year’s festival will feature multiple-time Grammy winner Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, as well as newcomers Ghost-Note and Neighbor. The event will also see the return of long-time favorites Cornmeal, featuring Allie Kral for the first time in 12 years, and the Kyle Hollingsworth Band from The String Cheese Incident.

The sky over southern Ohio is gray and pensive as we arrive early for the Everwild Music Festival. A new art piece, depicting a spider spinning a web that reads "Forever Everwild," echoes the sentiment of the attendees. Now is the time to be Forever Wild. In just four short years, Everwild has evolved from an intimate gathering hosted by Tropidelic into the Midwest’s preeminent reggae event. As a devoted attendee myself, I wanted to understand what makes this festival so special.

Nelson Ledges Quarry Park (NLQP) was an operational rock quarry for nearly 20 years until the late 1950s when mining operations accidentally tapped into an underground freshwater spring. Much like a dinghy with a hole, NLQP quickly filled with water, making it impossible for the miners to continue their work. Operations were shuttered, and local phreaks of all sorts became the only visitors to the 250-acre hidden lake near Garrettsville, Ohio.

Earl Scruggs Music Festival is set to make its highly anticipated return to the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, NC, for its 3rd annual event from August 30 to September 1. Dark Star Orchestra and Borderland Festival announce that DSO will perform the famous Grateful Dead 5/9/77 show at the Memorial Auditorium in Buffalo, NY, on Sunday, September 15, during the three-day festival in East Aurora, NY.
