Silver Wrapper, React Presents, and October are thrilled to announce the return of the Chicago Bluegrass & Blues (CBB) series, welcoming some of the finest talents in Bluegrass and Blues, and the genres they inspire, including Curtis Harding, Colter Wall, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, Matador! Soul Sounds, Mary Lane & The No Static Blues Band with Michael Alkaraki, and more. 

Coming in hot at the peak of their winter tour, Greensky Bluegrass played the House of Blues closing out the 6 week long mid-winter melt down, Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Festival 2015.  This festival is a showcase of independent music for the critical music lover.  Over the years, the fest has expanded to more locations with more acts and over a longer span of the winter months.  CBB 201

The 2015 Chicago Bluegrass & Blues fest is back with more bands, more nights, and more venues, expanding to six venues and 22 shows throughout January and February.

Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Festival (CBB) is ready to celebrate its 5th birthday! The wintertime roots fest returns with 17 shows format spanning three weeks in January and February!CBB V is anchored in eight shows over three weeks at the newly-minted Concord Music Hall, the West Loop’s City Winery, and Evanston’s SPACE.
