Graham Nash

After famously playing their second show at Woodstock in August 1969, David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, and Neil Young spent the rest of the year touring and writing songs for what would become CSNY’s 1970 debut, Déjà Vu. A newly discovered multi-track recording of the band’s September 20, 1969, concert at the historic Fillmore East in New York City captures an early moment from that first tour and will be released as a double live album on October 25.

In the shadowy heart of Boulder, beneath the gothic arches of Chautauqua Auditorium, an eerie whisper of fate interrupted Graham Nash's opening tour night. As the lights flickered and died, darkness embraced the classic venue. A sudden hush fell over the eager crowd, like a murmur from the abyss, as the very air seemed to shiver with anticipation. The power outage, we were informed, had swept through the Hill, leaving even the most venerable of houses cloaked in darkness.

Two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and founding member of both Crosby, Stills & Nash and the Hollies, Graham Nash, is set to enchant Colorado this August with a series of performances supporting his critically acclaimed new album "Now." Marking his first studio release in seven years, "Now" has been hailed by critics from The New York Times, The New Yorker, NPR Music, and many more.

The video for Graham Nash's "A Better Life" won the First Prize in the Music Video category at the ASIFA Festival. Using classic animation techniques, hand painting the backgrounds and cell overlays for characters, director and acclaimed animator Jeff Scher aims to evoke a mid-century Technicolor cartoon look and a sense of mid-century optimism.
