Old Crow Medicine Show releases “Bombs Away,” the latest single from the GRAMMY award-winning band’s seventh studio album Paint This Town (out April 22 via ATO Records). Featuring Molly Tuttle on banjo, the band’s devil-may-care twist on a classic divorce song is accompanied by a live performance video. The group discussed the song’s “Origins” with Consequence this morning.

Acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Molly Tuttle will release her anticipated Nonesuch Records debut, Crooked Tree, April 1 with her new bluegrass collective Golden Highway (pre-order here). Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway release a live performance video of “She’ll Change,” the recently released track from Tuttle’s forthcoming Nonesuch debut. Filmed at Hartland Studios in Nashville, the video, which can be seen here, features Tuttle on guitar and vocals alongside her band of bluegrass virtuosos—mandolinist Dominick Leslie, banjoist Kyle Tuttle, fiddle player Bronwyn Keith-Hynes and bassist Shelby Means.

Molly Tuttle releases “She’ll Change” today on Nonesuch Records. The new track, from her forthcoming Nonesuch debut, is co-written by Tuttle and Old Crow Medicine Show’s Ketch Secor and is performed by an all-star ensemble of Nashville musicians, including Ron Block, Michael “Mike” Bub, Jason Carter, Dominick Leslie, Tina Adair; the recording also features Jerry Douglas, who co-produced the song with Tuttle.

A year or so back, I’d had a thought about doing some shows with Sierra Hull & Molly Tuttle, and we got together to jam. (Mostly I was thinking they’d be amazing together without me!) But, later in the recording of the album it became clear to me that I was propagating the boys club, while there were female players who were just as good. Even though I already had more than an album’s worth of music recorded, we did an awesome session with Molly, Sierra, and a couple of dudes -  Mark Schatz and Andy Leftwich - cutting three more tunes.

Grammy Award winning folk group Old Crow Medicine Show are the latest legendary act to join the Cola Concerts fall lineup. The band will be joined by special guest Molly Tuttle for an incredible night of music Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Columbia Speedway Amphitheatre.
