Porter Robinson

As one of the longest-running music festivals in American history, Austin City Limits celebrated another successful year in Zilker Park. A destination for music fans from around the world, this year’s festivities were arguably the biggest to date. The first day featured some of the biggest names in music, celebrated the industry’s newest voices, and offered everything in between over the course of the weekend.

One of the most dynamic artists in the electronic genre right now, PORTER ROBINSON can now add event producer to his remarkable list of accomplishments.  On Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16, 2019, Robinson launched his inaugural SECOND SKY FESTIVAL to great success.

On November 2016, PORTER ROBINSON--who is bringing SECOND SKY FESTIVAL to California this June--got a call that would change his family’s life. His 17-year-old brother Mark was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, an aggressive, fast growing cancer. After intensive treatment at UNC Hospital on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from his doctors and the rest of their staff, Mark was eventually cured and is now thriving.

From his groundbreaking debut Worlds to his "Shelter" collaboration with Madeon and his early 2000s love letter as Virtual Self, PORTER ROBINSON has proven himself to be one of the most dynamic artists in the electronic genre right now.  On Saturday, June 15, he will unveil his next endeavor - PORTER ROBINSON'S MULTIVERSE FESTIVAL.  Presented by Goldenvoice, MULTIVERSE will be a one-of-a-kind unique event for his fans set to take place at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park (MHSP) in the Bay Area of Northern California.
