49 Winchester have announced their first ever European live dates as direct support for Luke Combs’ 2023 World Tour. Kicking off on September 30 in Oslo, Norway, the 14 date trek will conclude with a 2-Night Stand at London’s O2 Arena. 49 Winchester’s Isaac Gibson said, “Luke is someone whose music and approach we’ve admired for years. We are beyond grateful and excited to hit the road with him in Europe this fall, and take the 49 show worldwide on the biggest stages of our career. See ya’ll out there!”

Nickel Creek and Margo Price are among the top tier of what's shaping up to be an eclectic Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion lineup in 2023. The award-winning festival returns to Historic Downtown Bristol, Tenn.-Va. for its 22nd annual event September, 8-10.

Other acts included in the initial lineup announcement include Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, Watchhouse, The Mavericks, 49 Winchester, Larkin Poe, Allison Russell, Amythyst Kiah, and Walderado, with more artists to be announced in the spring.

Virginia’s breakout country-soul outfit 49 Winchester has confirmed a slew of spring tour dates in support of their critically acclaimed major label debut, Fortune Favors the Bold, released May 13, 2022 on New West Records. The Russell County based trailblazers have recently completed a run of headline dates across the country and will continue to traverse the continental United States and parts of Europe in the coming new year. The Birthplace of Country Music (BCM) has announced 49 Winchester, one of the hottest acts to emerge from Southwest Virginia, will perform at its 22nd annual Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion music festival in 2023.

"49 Winchester embodies the tremendous wealth of musical talent that resides in our region," said Leah Ross, BCM executive director of advancement. "We are so proud of the band's accomplishments and are thrilled to announce they'll return to the Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion lineup next year."

49 Winchester will make their Grand Ole Opry debut on August 30th in support of their critically acclaimed Fortune Favors the Bold. The new album has quickly generated over 10 million global streams and is now generating north of 750,000 streams a week. Fortune Favors the Bold debuted at #7 on the Billboard Top New Artist Chart, #7 on the Billboard Current Country Chart, and #10 on the Billboard Folk Americana Chart as well.

Rosanne Cash and JJ Grey & Mofro are two of the top headliners for the Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion music festival, Sept. 9-11, 2022, in Historic Downtown Bristol, Tennessee-Virginia. The announcement of Grey and Cash are part of the first round of artists announced today by festival organizers.

As the band A Thousand Horses played their final note on the State Street Stage, closing out Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion's 20th anniversary celebration, festival organizers at the Birthplace of Country Music (BCM) were already hinting to the media that next year's event would honor another big milestone, the 95th anniversary of the 1927 Bristol Sessions - the event known internationally as the "big bang of country music."
