The Werks

With live music becoming a vibrant reality more and more as the weather warms and the days lengthen, the Ohio ‘jamtronica’ group The Werks have another reason to celebrate. Today the band announces the return of founding member and original bassist Chuckie Love back into The Werks lineup.

Nearly a year after America began its fight with the coronavirus pandemic, The Werk Out Music & Arts Festival is bouncing back stronger than ever. By adapting to the socially distanced era for events, The Werk Out will continue to rock with two nights of music at the spacious Legend Valley Music Venue & Campground in Thornville, Ohio July 23 and 24.

Dayton, Ohio based jam quartet The Werks announced a much-anticipated return to the stage with a socially distant concert event called Riverwerk. Hosted on the bank of the Ohio River at Riverfront Live in Cincinnati, the band will play an outdoor multi-set show, with fans situated in designated socially distant areas. Hometown progressive rock quintet Peridoni will open the show.

The Werk Out Festival has announced its daily lineup schedule for August 1st-August 3rd, 2019. In its 10th year founded and curated by The Werks, this year presents the most robust lineup yet with Big Gigantic, STS9, The Claypool Lennon Delirium, Steel Pulse, The Floozies, Twiddle, Matisyahu, and more rounding out the genre-spanning lineup handpicked by the festival’s namesake band. In addition, the festival has announced single-day tickets available for the first time in their history.

For the past 7 years, The Werks have put on The Werk Out Music & Arts Festival which has hosted some of the top names in the business.  The initial reveal of the lineup includes 3 nights of The Werks, Gramatik, The Floozies, Emancipator, Dopapod (two nights), Dumpstaphunk and many more.

Beloved Ohio jam rockers The Werks have responded to tragedy and transition by solidifying the strongest lineup in their decade of existence. They’re ready to launch 2017 with an 8-week coast-to-coast run in support of this effort, their fifth full studio release entitled “Magic”.

The Werks long time keyboardist, Norman Dimitrouleas, died over the weekend, he was 33.

With their 4th studio album, Inside a Dream, set to be released on November 20th, genre benders The Werks take listeners on a track-by-track musical voyage through the heart of a dream; into their own hopes, fears, and aspirations.
