Acclaimed vocalist/guitarist Eric Rachmany is giving fans the best of both worlds by bringing together his Unified Highway partner Amp Live (the renowned producer, DJ and remixer) and Rebelution band members Rory Carey, Wesley Finley and Marley D. Williams with the release of two new singles – “Taking My Time” and “Pay No Mind” – PRESS HERE to listen to the standout collaborations now.

Reggae remains a big part of the sound while futuristic influences and samples from electronic music and beyond are incorporated throughout. “Pay No Mind” serves as an ode to staying the course, ignoring those who want to bring you down, while “Taking My Time” captures being completely Zen and not caring how people look at you.

“Being able to perform and see people dance to our music and really feel it is such a great experience,” said Eric Rachmany. “This style of music isn’t the most popular or mainstream, but that's what makes it so special for the people who enjoy it. Thats what ‘Pay No Mind’ is about, blocking out any hate or negativity and just sticking to what feels good. I hope these songs can help people find their space and find their comfortability like so many of us do through music.”

Rebelution can be seen at select festivals throughout the next several months, and the band’s Good Vibes Cali Tour with special guests Kolohe Kai, Collie Buddz, Cydeways and DJ Mackle kicks off August 7 in Avila Beach and includes a four night stand in Costa Mesa along with two nights in their hometown at the Santa Barbara Bowl and 20K capacity venues in Chula Vista and Mountain View. ABOUT UNIFIED HIGHWAY

When a meeting of musical minds turns into magic, there’s always an element of mystery. It was on tour back in 2008 when Eric Rachmany met Amp Live, and something about their personalities and musical sensibilities clicked creatively, and out of that mystery, Unified Highway was born. The sound continued to evolve out of Eric and Amp’s different musical background – and Eric calls it a unification of differences, a sound without boundaries. Amp pictures two separate cars going in the same direction on a – unified, of course – highway. While continuing to tour their own projects, they found time to join forces in the studio long enough to record their self-titled debut Unified Highway album, released in 2016. The duo's sophomore album, Headline (Easy Star Records), dropped in April 2020.

ABOUT REBELUTION

Founded in Isla Vista, CA, the members of Rebelution (Eric Rachmany, Rory Carey, Wesley Finley and Marley D. Williams), have followed their instincts to remarkable success since the release of their breakout 2007 debut, Courage To Grow. In 2009, the band topped the Billboard Reggae Chart for the first of what would be five consecutive #1 records; in 2014, they boasted the highest-selling reggae release of the year; and in 2017, they garnered a GRAMMY nomination for Best Reggae Album. Relix hailed the group as “a leading voice in their scene,” while Billboard raved that the band “weaves hypnotic threads of alt-rock and pop, retro-funk, blues, dub, [and] even traditional Middle Eastern strains into their bubbling, one-drop reggae groove.” Rebelution’s transcendent live performances, meanwhile, have taken on legendary status, earning the group sell-out headline shows everywhere from Red Rocks to The Greek Theatre along with festival slots at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, ACL, Glastonbury and more.
