Dates for the Summer Camp Music Festival 20th Anniversary have been rescheduled to take place Memorial Day Weekend 2021. Organizers had remained hopeful that Illinois would enter into Phase 5 of the Restore Illinois Plan, however due to the recent spike in cases nationwide, they have determined that it is no longer safe to hold the event this year.

I love it! The Ghost of Paul Revere absolutely nailed it with their new single and accompanying music video, “Love At Your Convenience.” The vocals are powerful while the instrumentals are heavy and deeply rooted in a soulful mixture of folk, bluegrass, rock and a touch of alternativeness. They refer to their style as ‘holler folk.’ It seems to me it is an adaptation of the field holler genre which was sung by Black slaves.

Frank Wildhorn, the American composer, and more than sixty members of the Wildhorn Musical family simultaneously world premiered a video featuring 53 singers from 12 countries, representing 17 of his musicals, performing the powerful, “Finding Wonderland,” from the Broadway musical, Wonderland on Friday, July 10th at 9am ET.

Eminence Ensemble announced the beginning of a new chapter as they welcome Dylan Gleit. This is a bittersweet time for the players as they part with Taylor Frederick, who joined the band in 2016. Frederick made many great contributions to the band during his tenure and is an incredible talent, but the addition of Gleit on guitar will allow Eminence Ensemble to grow and enhance its sound.

Set for independent release Friday, August 21st, Free Swim mines dance grooves from soulful funk to dirty disco to build instrumental songs with a signature Lotus sound.

Canadian country rising star MANNY BLU today (July 10) announced the release of his upcoming EP NEW INK, available on November 13. South American and United States-based collective LADAMA release an urgent declaration to women across the globe with its electrifying sophomore studio album, OYE MUJER (Six Degrees Records, Release Date: July 10, 2020). Acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Mary Chapin Carpenter’s new single, “Secret Keepers,” is debuting today.
