Of all the ways to deliver music to fans amidst a global pandemic, The Steel Wheels took a very clever—and quite intimate—approach. With their signature blend of Appalachian Americana stylings, The Steel Wheels’ primary songwriter Trent Wagler began crowdsourcing personal experiences of fans and forging them into songs in 2020.

Born out of the pandemic and due for release on October 15, The St Buryan Sessions will be the sixth solo album by award-winning multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter Sarah McQuaid, and is her most powerful and emotive offering yet.

A six-week, 21-date UK tour marks the album’s launch, and Sarah’s 2022 tour plans include the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Ireland and USA.

The inaugural High Ground Music & Arts Experience took place this past Saturday for a sold-out crowd just outside of Denver in the grassy amphitheater of Levitt Pavilion. Revelers enjoyed the natural beauty of the Colorado outdoors as they took part in the first-ever festival of its kind. Two stages of live chill electronic music were surrounded by the breathtaking Colorado landscape highlighted by art installations and vendors from across the Mile High City.

Written solely by Outlaw and produced by Cheyenne Medders, the song is a prime example of Outlaw's creative evolution.

Giraffe Aftermath, a reggae/rock outfit from Vancouver, BC, are set to release “Trying to Change”, a brand new single, on November 13th, 2021. The single sees the band returning from a hiatus of almost seven years. Today, the forward-thinking Americana/alt-bluegrass torch bearers Greensky Bluegrass have shared “Monument,” the first sampling from Stress Dreams, the band’s eighth studio album, due out on January 21 via Thirty Tigers.

If you recognize the voice of Ben Larsen, you are not mistaken. Larsen headed up the popular band Crow and the Canyon before going solo. Crow and the Canyon were more of an old timey, folk, bluegrass band, where his solo project has a lot more depth to the production. You still are treated to his unique brand of lyrics, but the vocals take an entirely new soulful characteristic. His new EP titled Drop will be out October 29th via Dutch Records. When asked the meaning behind the single here is what Ben had to say:
