Colorado-based jamgrass pioneers, Leftover Salmon, announce a July 4 celebration as only this band can deliver: July 2-4, 2021 at The Surf Hotel in beautiful Buena Vista, CO.

The shows will all be held on the LAWN, adjacent to the hotel in the heart of Buena Vista’s South Main District.

Today, platinum-selling singer, songwriter, musician, and producer David Shaw has released his debut self-titled solo album via his own imprint Yokoko Records in partnership with C3 Records.

Jackie & The Racket’s single is the latest installment from the reliably great Dutch Records single series.  Jackie and company recently moved to Nashville, and hopefully soon the good folks of Tennessee will get a chance to see their live show, which they are known for. Colorado-based band Tenth Mountain Division is pushing the sound found in the mountains in bold new directions with their high-energy electro-acoustic sound. With Producer Tim Carbone (Railroad Earth) at the helm, the band recorded their third studio album, Butte La Rose, with engineer Todd Divel (Hard Working Americans, Fruition) at Silo Sound Studio.

Colorado-based outlaw alt-folk group, Tejon Street Corner Thieves, have released their new album, Stolen Goods today via Liars Club. The 10-track album was recorded at Royal Recordings in Colorado Springs, Colo. with producer Bill Douglass, and pays homage to the classic traditional Americana, folk, and bluegrass songs that helped redefine genres; and lay the groundwork for what would become the roots of modern folk.

In the first few seconds of The High Hawks’ debut single, a flurry of pulsing electric piano, kick drum, and Townshend-esque guitar strums give way to a flat out J.J. Cale groove just in time for the first line to be sung: “If we could just find a highway...might even find a way to make it home.” And thus, The High Hawks take flight. That tune, “Heroes & Highways,” is an appropriate first taste of music from the long-time-coming, feel-good Americana cooperative, naturally expressing the range of which the bands’ members can reach.

The Zappa Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, the companion album to the highly acclaimed Alex Winter-directed documentary “Zappa” about the prolific genius composer, free speech activist, cultural ambassador to Czechoslovakia and legendary musician, Frank Zappa, is now available as a 5LP deluxe vinyl box set via Zappa Records/UMe. The collection follows the surprise digital release of the soundtrack released in conjunction with the film on Franksgiving, November 27th, 2020 and the 3CD version released in February.
