"Tropical Indie-Rock" sextet The Hip Abduction will bring their vibrant Florida vibes to Colorado this winter. Don't miss their Presidents Day week of shows infusing global grooves with a highly emotive and roots driven sound.

The Felice Brothers will release a limited edition 7-inch vinyl recording of “Country Ham” on December 9 via Yep Roc Records. The holiday-themed single features a live version of “Murder By Mistletoe” – recorded for Rolling Stone last year in NYC – on the B-side.

In the midst of their massive fall tour Dopapod and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have announced a 2 night Colorado run in January. The bands' will share the stage at Denver's Ogden Theatre on January 27th and Boulder's Boulder Theater on January 28th. Both shows will feature full sets from both Pigeons and Dopapod, with a different band closing each night.

Lotus announces more dates to their winter tour in support of the latest album, Eat the Light. The string of recent two-night shows continues down south at Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse & Asheville’s Orange Peel. They will also tour the California coast with stops at Solana Beach’s Belly Up, Los Angeles’ The Fonda Theatre and two nights at The Independent in San Francisco before heading to Oregon to play Portland’s Crystal Ballroom and Eugene’s McDonald Theatre.

July Talk announce today that they will be returning to the UK in March 2017 for a second UK headline tour in just six months. This follows the recent sold-out success of their European headline tour, including three UK dates, and their current support slot with Catfish And The Bottlemen on their UK arena tour, including a date at London’s SSE Wembley Arena tomorrow night.
 

Leon Russell, born Claude Russell Bridges, who sang, wrote and produced some of rock 'n' roll's top records, passed away Sunday, Nov. 13 at the age of 74.

Leon’s wife, Jan Bridges, released the following statement:

“We thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this very, very difficult time. My husband passed in his sleep in our Nashville home. He was recovering from heart surgery in July and looked forward to getting back on the road in January. We appreciate everyone’s love and support.”
