In celebration of Rhino's 45th Anniversary, the label is launching Rhino Reds, a new series of limited-edition reissues pressed on custom "Rhino Red" vinyl.

Over the next few months, Rhino will release classic albums and rarities from its vast music archive, showcasing records by key artists from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Each complete reissue will feature a bonus 7-inch, both pressed on translucent "Rhino Red" vinyl, based on the PMS color used in Rhino's logo.

Three very special guests--six-time Grammy nominee pedal steel virtuoso Robert Randolph, guitarist Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and the world-renowned a cappella quintet, VoicePlay—have been added to the exciting lineup of Decades Rock Live’s latest concert production, “Chicago & Friends.”

Rhino is a respected name in the audiophile community, renowned for their exceptional and quality catalog releases. Following the success of The Doobie Brothers: Quadio (2020) and Chicago Quadio (2016) sets, Rhino will release a slew of seminal 1970s albums recorded in quadraphonic sound.

Quadraphonic sound, or 4.0 surround sound, utilizes four audio channels connected to four speakers positioned at the corners of a listening space. The multi-tracked audio is mixed dimensional, immersing the listener in an expansive soundscape.

One of Americas most enduring rock groups, Chicago had begun a brand-new tour in 2018, with a new line up and new set list concentrating on the bands most classic tunes from their first two albums.

Chicago is set to launch a 25-date summer tour with support from the Doobie Brothers next month.  The relationship between the two bands dates back to the early 1970s, with this summer's tour marking the fifth time the legendary acts have hit the road together. Following separate sets loaded with their individual hits, the shows will culminate with a collaborative finale featuring classics from both acts.
