Today, the Indiana blues-rock outfit The Cold Stares has released ‘Voices,’ their explosive new full-length album, out now via Mascot Records. Self-produced by the band and recorded almost entirely over the course of just two days with engineer Mark Needham (Taj Mahal, The Killers, Imagine Dragons, Walk the Moon, Fleetwood Mac), ‘Voices’ stands as The Cold Stares’ most mature, eclectic collection yet, balancing gritty muscle and tender emotion in equal measure.

On their cinematic new single “Throw That Stone,” featuring guest vocals by bluegrass singer Brenna Macmillan and mandolin by the acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Warren Hood, the Indiana blues-rock outfit The Cold Stares channel some of the greatest artists in gospel blues and American roots for a stirring tale of judgement and acceptance.

The Indiana blues-rock outfit The Cold Stares have unveiled “Nothing But The Blues” and “The Ghost,” two new singles that reflect a new era of songwriting for the band. Both featuring characters fueled by desperate longings - for hope, for purpose, for comfort – “Nothing But The Blues” is an epic anthem that wrestles with hard times in a down-and-out town, while “The Ghost” channels the redemptive fervor of a Sunday morning tent revival.
 

Indiana duo The Cold Stares have just released "Heavy Shoes," the title track from their upcoming studio album, out August 13th via Mascot Records. Shot in an abandoned 19th-century church that seemed to breathe with the energy of those who had once filled its halls, "Heavy Shoes" is a metaphor for the baggage we all carry, whether it's a relationship, an addiction, or just something you can’t let go of.

Today, with the release of their blistering new single “Hard Times,” the Indiana based blues-rock duo The Cold Stares offer the first taste of their new set of material, slated for release in late 2021 via new label partner, Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group.

Evansville, KY-based rock duo The Cold Stares have released “Fire in the Sand,” the lead single from their forthcoming sophomore album to mainstream radio. Produced by Mark Needham (Imagine Dragons, P!nk), the independently-released single has impacted radio thanks to a groundswell of fan requests.
