Dark Star Orchestra has been confirmed as part of the initial lineup for the 2008 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. The 7th annual four-day camping and music festival will be held on June 12-15 on the same 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee, 60 miles south of Nashville. The final Bonnaroo 2008 lineup will total over 100 bands and over 20 comedians performing on 13 stages over four days.

By all accounts, Gathering of the Vibes 2007 was a huge success on every level. The four-day festival, August 9-12, brought together musical artists, staff and an estimated 20,000 attendees from all across the nation to celebrate music, camping and camaraderie, and all agreed that the Vibes return to Bridgeport, CT, was triumphant.

Gathering of the Vibes 2007 has finalized the lineup for the 12th  Annual Music, Camping and Arts Festival, taking place August 9-12 at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, CT.  The diverse genres of musicians and bands performing on four stages include Legendary Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir and Ratdog, five time Grammy Award Winner Buddy Guy, Latin Rockers Los Lobos, New Orleans based Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Bass Virtuoso Les Claypool, Roots Reggae Favorites, The Wailers,  Southern rock

After another day of great music and great weather, the rain attacked STS9 and once again stopped the headliner's set a little early. Overall, it was a beautiful day of music and dancing on the river. This festival is quietly one of the best small festivals that I have attended in a long while. The food was affordable and delicious. There was variety and quality, even using Philadelphia's own Amoroso rolls for sandwiches. Yum! In addition, the vendors were diverse and special as well.
