The Infamous Stringdusters, are pleased to announce the second single from their forthcoming album, A Tribute to Bill Monroe, is out now on Americana Vibes.

“Sitting Alone in the Moonlight” is a Monroe ballad that tells the tale of the storyteller left by his lover to ponder upon their past together. The song was first released by Bill Monroe and His Bluegrass Boys in 1956. The Dusters are the latest in a handful of bluegrassers who have recorded their take since its initial release.

Blue skies, incredible musicians, great friends, and a postcard backdrop were all on tap at this much needed mountain music festival. Todd Sheaffer, lead singer and guitar player with Railroad Earth, headlined the first day of the festival. Music echoed through the valley as laser lights bounced off the hills in perfect harmony.
