It was in Bozeman, Montana that our Kitchen Dwellers first discovered a constant source of musical inspiration near the kitchen, with bluegrass music, and each other. From those free form kitchen picking sessions, their very own chief recipe of a bluegrass style was created. Over the course of their 4 year career the Dwellers have been honored to open for some of their very own musical heroes: Railroad Earth, Greensky Bluegrass, Head for the Hills, Horseshoes and Handgrenades, just to name a few.

The third annual Beanstalk Music and Arts Festival returned to the State Bridge Amphitheater in Bond, Colorado this past May, proving once again that The Magic Beans, perfect Colorado weather, and a slew of other incredible acts are the perfect recipe for a fun-filled weekend. No single thing makes a festival the “best festival ever.” Sure, one great band can make it really good. Or maybe the campground scene was where it was at. But it’s really when you group those moments with the ones of unbearable laughter, silly dancing, and inspirational people that a festival becomes the “best ever.” And you know what? The Northwest String Summit consistently brings the best.
