Skerik

Sound Cipher is the surreal, pulsating audio vision shared by three of modern music's most uncompromising sound sculptors. It’s the sort of thing that emerges when Tim Alexander (Primus, Puscifer, A Perfect Circle) finds himself inside a thunderous duo improvisation with Skerik (Critters Buggin, Garage A Trois, Les Claypool's Frog Brigade) during a soundcheck for Primus' Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory tour in Oakland CA.

Wednesday night, the power trio of funk, fire, and infamy Garage A Trois made the Aggie Theatre their first stop in Colorado and played to a crowd that were more than happy to step out for a night on the town midweek.

Friday night, Les Claypool brought his dastardly creation Bastard Jazz to Boulder Theater and for the lucky 850 who got tickets to the sold-out show, many left the building awe struck, jaw dropped, and looking for more.

Garage A Trois return in the form from which they were born 22 years earlier with new studio album, 'Calm Down Cologne,' to be released April 16 via RPF Records. The title track is available across all streaming outlets today (listen/share). Comprised by guitarist Charlie Hunter, saxophonist Skerik and drummer Stanton Moore, OG GAT released its debut album, 'Mysteryfunk,' to wide acclaim in 1999.
