Hosts Nick and Helen Forster announce another unique pairing of artists for the program’s 20th anniversary season of live radio show tapings. On September 7, eTown welcomes back singer/songwriter/Old-time clawhammer banjo artist Abigail Washburn, along with country rocker Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and his latest band – The Wronglers.Both artists will be making return stops in eTown to share material from their latest musical endeavors and inspirations. Washburn’s most recent recording, City of Refuge, marries Old-time music with Indie Pop to create a sound that is entirely unique.
