The premier of multifaceted guitar icon Steve Kimock's newest band in Mill Valley featured many surprises. His twelve year old son Skyler joined on vocals and keyboards for the "Space Oddity" tribute to the late David Bowie. New originals and a very special appearance by Bob Weir highlighted a phenomenal start for this new project featuring John Morgan Kimock (drums), Bobby Vega (bass), and Leslie Mendelson (keyboard, vocals)
Banjo player extraordinaire and 2015 recipient of the 6th annual Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass, Danny Barnes is described as "one of a kind" and widely acknowledged as "one of the best banjo players in America." Barnes is recognized for his experimental sound. The raw and unpolished musical breadth of his compositions has propelled him across the industry today.
