Nathaniel Rateliff’s solo album, In Memory of Loss, will be reissued on Friday, May 19 via Concord Records. The album is remixed and remastered and features two additional tracks: “You Make All The Noise” and “Pounds and Pounds.” The release will also be available for the first time ever on vinyl as a 180 gram double LP with new album artwork.

Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell was reported having died last night in Detroit. His death was “sudden and unexpected” and the singer’s family would be “working closely with the medical examiner to determine the cause.” according to The New York Times. The band was scheduled to perform next at Rock on the Range Festival in Columbus, Ohio. 

Sammy Hagar, Bob Weir, Dave Grohl, Sarah McLachlan, Mick Fleetwood, Pat Benatar, Don Felder, and Steve Vai lent their musical support at The Fillmore in San Francisco on May 15 for the fourth annual Acoustic- 4-A-Cure benefit concert.
