Deep Roots Mountain Revival is proud to announce a full schedule of community-building and family-friendly activities for its second annual music and camping festival. Adults are encouraged to participate in relaxing and healing activities such as meditation, reiki, yoga, and hula hooping, or attend a fiddle, clawhammer, or flat-picking workshop for an educational experience.

The quartet coming in hot this year is Spafford, and today they announce their Fall 2017 national headline tour dates. 34 of them, to be exact. Stops on the upcoming tour include, two nights at Asheville Music Hall in Asheville, NC, two nights in Denver, CO — including a special VIP-only performance — their first headline play at Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY and an appearance at Suwanee Hulaween in Live Oak, FL. Ekoostik hookah founding member and vocalist John Mullins passed away unexpectedly yesterday.  Mullins, along with keyboardist Dave Katz formed the core of the pioneering Ohio jamband after a chance meeting in a little bar in Columbus, Ohio in early 1991.
