What can I say about the Faux Paws? Well, the new album takes you through the countryside down to the heart of the jazz scene and back to the serene Katy Hill. It’s got all the clever charm of an indie rom-com, all the allure of Kermit the Frog, and all the hot fun of New Orleans wrapped into one tiny bluegrass package.

With numerous Blues Music Award honors under his belt, Mike Zito, co-owner of Texas-based Gulf Coast Records (which has birthed a number of critically-acclaimed blues/rock albums since its 2018 inception), will release his new album with Hillside Global, Resurrection, which is set to hit July 16. Resurrection will be available for pre-order on May 21st at mikezito.com.

Whether singing for social justice or personal fulfillment, Sussman creates an inspiring musical landscape that occasionally dips into whimsy.

Sussman’s strong vocals and acoustic guitar agility mix well with her team of backing musicians:  Mike Nugent (lead guitar and dobro)
