Following the 2021 release of their sixth full-length album Dedicated, 2CELLOS today debut DEDICATED (EXTENDED EDITION), featuring three brand new bonus tracks, via Sony Music Masterworks. Celebrating the group’s momentous 10-year-anniversary, Dedicated has now been reissued with three new covers that find the duo of Luka Šulić and HAUSER once again showcasing their signature boundary-breaking playing style.

Nonprofit philanthropic organization Live Music Society (LMS) announced today the Spring 2022 recipients of the small music venue grant program. Their third round of grantees since establishing just under two years ago, LMS supplies philanthropic aid to music venues that have been in operation for three years or more with a sellable capacity of 300 occupants or less.

Strand of Oaks will embark on an extensive American tour this spring including stops at Chicago’s Lincoln Hall on May 8, L.A.’s Lodge Room on May 23, Austin’s Antone’s Nightclub on May 27, Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on June 16, Philadelphia’s Union Transfer on June 17 and Nashville’s Basement East on June 29 among many others. “Nothing in the World to Do,” Jesse Smathers’ debut single as a solo artist, recently made its first appearance on the Bluegrass Today weekly charts. Hot on its heels, Smathers announces the release of a second single, “Yesterday’s Blues.”

A native of Eden, North Carolina, Smathers now resides in Floyd, Virginia. He’s a full-time member of seminal Southwest Virginia group Lonesome River Band, and a music instructor at the Handmade Music School - where he met fellow instructor and songwriter Andrew Small.
