Kristin Scott Benson (five-time IBMA Banjo Player of the Year, recipient of the Steve Martin Award for Excellence in Bluegrass and Banjo and member of the GRAMMY-nominated Mountain Home artist The Grascals) and her husband, award-winning mandolinist Wayne Benson (25-year veteran of the seven-time IBMA Vocal Group of the Year, Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out) have signed with Mountain Home for their first joint creative endeavor, a duo simply named Benson.

Leave it to ace guitarist Jon Stickley and his eponymous Trio to start the new year with a single, “Take The Air,” that does for a 7/4 time signature what Dave Brubeck’s Paul Desmond-composed “Take Five” did for 5/4 some sixty years ago.

Country fuzz heroes The Cadillac Three will return to the UK this summer with their brand-new Hillbilly Hypnotized Tour. Having had to reschedule their much-anticipated 10th Anniversary UK Tour at the end of 2021 due to the pandemic, the acclaimed Nashville trio will instead be bringing a whole new live show for 2022. However tickets for the original tour dates will remain valid in each city.
