Catalan singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Lau Noah has announced the January 12 release of her newest and most ambitious album A DOS, a genre-blurring collection of original duets with many of her friends and heroes from the worlds of roots, jazz and global music. Accompanying today’s announcement, Lau releases “Lesser Men Would Call it Love” featuring multiple Grammy-winner Chris Thile, with whom she has previously toured.

Fresh on the heels of the exciting G3 Reunion of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Eric Johnson, comes “The Satch-Vai Tour” launching on March 22 in Orlando, FL. The tour will hit Atlanta, Boston, New York, DC, Detroit, Minneapolis and more before winding up in Salt Lake City on May 8 with 31 shows announced today, more dates TBA soon. This marks the first time that the long-time friends have toured as a duo-bill. In additional exciting news, for the first time they will collaborate on new music with plans to release just before the tour launches in March.

Today, the Grateful Dead have tied the record for most Billboard Top 40 albums by any act in history. Having previously broken the record as the group with the most Top 40 albums, the band has just earned their 58th album in the Top 40, with the debut of Dave's Picks Vol. 48 at #33 on this week's Billboard 200. The Grateful Dead are now tied with both Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley, and are just one release away from breaking the all-time record.
