Acclaimed American rock band Blackberry Smoke recently took the stage at Atlanta’s Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park for a special homecoming concert honoring their late drummer, Brit Turner. The event featured heartfelt tributes from the group and other notable guests, such as Butch Walker, Jackyl’s Jesse James Dupree, and Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen and Daxx Nielsen, who joined the band to perform some of Turner’s favorite songs. The Lake George Arts Project celebrates the 40th anniversary of Jazz at the Lake, a free, three-day festival (September 13-15) featuring renowned and rising jazz stars. Today, Steve Earle and City Winery announced the 10th Annual John Henry’s Friends Benefit concert, which will take place on Monday, November 4, at The Town Hall in New York City.
