Today, Steve Earle and City Winery announced the 10th Annual John Henry’s Friends Benefit concert, which will take place on Monday, November 4, at The Town Hall in New York City. Hosted by Steve Earle, the event will feature performances from Earle, Jackson Browne, Margaret Glaspy, and Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams. These five singer-songwriters will perform together in a guitar pull format, taking turns on guitar.
Limited VIP packages will be available at https://citywinery.com/new-york-city/wine-series/steve-earle-vip ($250-$8,500), and will include orchestra seating at Town Hall, as well as admission to the After Party immediately following the show and various experiences with Steve.

VIP Packages ($250-$8,500) are now available for pre-sale, giving VinoFile members, past Town Hall VIP and GA ticket holders, as well as Steve Earle’s and the lineup’s fanbases, and Town Hall members early access. General Admission tickets ($75-$150) will go on sale on Monday, September 23, at The Town Hall.
As with previous John Henry’s Friends Benefit concerts, all proceeds will be donated to The Keswell School, an educational program for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The Keswell School is founded on the belief that children diagnosed with ASD can live full and productive lives as integrated members of their communities, and it provides educational, therapeutic, and supportive services for these children and their families.
Past performers include Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, David Byrne, Rosanne Cash, Graham Nash, Shawn Colvin, Lucinda Williams, Emmylou Harris, Jason Isbell, Josh Ritter, Amanda Shires, Terry Allen, and others.
Steve Earle's live album, Alone Again (Live), was released digitally on July 12th and is available to stream now. The 15-song record features live recordings from his 2023 tour, including hits like "I Ain't Ever Satisfied," "The Galway Girl," "Copperhead Road," and more. Vinyl and CD editions will be released on October 11th.
About Steve Earle
Steve Earle is one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters of his generation. A protégé of legendary songwriters Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark, he quickly became a master storyteller in his own right, with his songs being recorded by Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Joan Baez, Emmylou Harris, The Pretenders, and countless others. His 1986 record Guitar Town shot to number one on the country charts and is now regarded as a classic of the Americana genre. Earle’s 1988 hit “Copperhead Road” was made an official state song of Tennessee in 2023. Subsequent releases, including The Revolution Starts...Now (2004), Washington Square Serenade (2007), and TOWNES (2009), received consecutive GRAMMY® Awards. Earle has published two books and produced albums for other artists. As an actor, he has appeared in several films and had recurring roles in the HBO series The Wire and Tremé. In 2017, Earle appeared in the off-Broadway play Samara, for which he also wrote the score, described by The New York Times as “exquisitely subliminal.” More recently, he wrote the music for and appeared in the off-Broadway play Coal Country, for which he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award.
Earle is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. In 2023, he was also honored by the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music.
About Jackson Browne

Originally from Northern California, Margaret Glaspy began writing songs at age 15 and quickly developed a powerful balance of sensitivity and incisiveness. As a product of the New York music scene, she has released three full-length albums with ATO Records, toured the world, and shared the stage with artists like Spoon, Wilco, Sara Bareilles, and Norah Jones. Glaspy has a rare gift for rendering the most nuanced aspects of the human experience with equal parts primal emotion and intellectual depth. She cites influences like Tom Waits, Sonic Youth, Vivienne Westwood, and Aretha Franklin. About Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams
Acclaimed Americana musicians Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams are celebrated for their vocal and instrumental virtuosity. Initially, the duo made their marks separately—Larry as a multi-instrumentalist with Bob Dylan, Sheryl Crow, Keith Richards, and Emmylou Harris, and Teresa as an actor in productions like Keep On the Sunny Side, where she portrayed Sara Carter. Their performing partnership was forged while recording and touring with Levon Helm, the iconic drummer and voice of The Band. Together, they have released three studio albums, along with the live recording Live at Levon’s.
