With his latest release, Swingin’ and Skankin’, larger-than-life Texas Swing legend and 9-time GRAMMY winner, Ray Benson, crossed not only genre lines but a literal ocean as well to try his hand at blending his brand of picking and singing with Jamaica’s legendary Reggae sound and players.

Punk In The Park is making its way to San Diego, California, on November 16, for a thrilling day of music and craft beer tasting. The day-long punk rock and craft beer tasting event will feature eight incredible bands spanning the punk rock genre. Iconic bands The Offspring and Pennywise will headline the powerful lineup, which also includes Streetlight Manifesto, Face To Face, Manic Hispanic, Buck-O-Nine, Slaughterhouse, Winterhaven and more to be announced.

On September 3rd, 1977, the Grateful Dead played one of their most legendary concerts at Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey. The show drew an astonishing crowd of approximately 150,000 people, creating the largest audience the state had ever seen for a concert. This event wasn't just a show; it was a monumental gathering that would become a defining moment in the history of the Grateful Dead and rock music.

The Scene and The Crowd

Legendary banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck is set to embark on a groundbreaking new collaboration with acclaimed musicians Edmar Castañeda and Antonio Sanchez. The trio, an exciting fusion of banjo, harp, and drums, will take the stage at the iconic Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City for a weeklong residency, from September 10th to September 15th, 2024. Each evening will feature two performances, offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience this innovative and dynamic combination of sounds.
