2025: A Milestone Year for the Freddy Jones Band

The Freddy Jones Band is marking a year of milestones in 2025, celebrating 30 years of their groundbreaking album North Avenue Wakeup Call and 10 years of their critically acclaimed album Never Change. Both albums were produced by multi-Grammy-winning producer Justin Neibank, whose work with artists like Taylor Swift, Little Big Town, and Keith Urban has left a lasting impact on the music industry. Neibank himself has called Never Change “the best record I’ve worked on in years.”

This anniversary tour will feature fan-favorite hits, including “In a Daydream,” “Take the Time,” “Waitress,” and “Hold on to Midnight,” as well as tracks from their latest release, EP23, such as “Mirror Ball” and “Connected.” The band will also honor the enduring legacy of their signature song, “In a Daydream,” which continues to resonate with audiences more than three decades later.

The Band Today

Marty Lloyd, the founding member of the Freddy Jones Band, remains the driving creative force behind their iconic sound. Marty’s commitment is unparalleled—having missed only one show in the band’s 33-year history. Alongside Marty is Rich Ross, the band’s bassist and longtime collaborator, whose experience with The Samples and in the music industry has been instrumental in guiding the band’s independent path forward.

Today, the Freddy Jones Band prides itself on its artistic independence, creating music on their own terms while maintaining a deep connection with their fans. With new material set for release in spring 2025, the band’s passion for songwriting and performance remains as strong as ever.

Touring Legacy

Known for their dynamic live performances, the Freddy Jones Band has shared the stage with legendary acts like Big Head Todd & The Monsters, The Wallflowers, Blues Traveler, Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, Sheryl Crow, Train, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

The 2025 anniversary tour is a testament to their enduring appeal, offering fans a chance to celebrate both the band’s history and its exciting future.
