Indy Festival Partners in association with the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center today announced the second All IN “Dreamset” lineup of all star artists uniting for a one-time-only celebration of all-time great songs. This new Dreamset will celebrate the songs of Tom Petty and take place on night 2 of the inaugural All IN Music & Arts Festival, Labor Day weekend, Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4, 2022 in Indianapolis.
A unique feature that makes this festival stand out from all others are the All IN Dreamsets, which are epic celebrations of iconic songs featuring very special guests. The Dreamsets are produced by Paul Peck who is known for his famous Bonnaroo Superjams and his PoWows at the Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival, and other special events. Paul was the creative force behind the Bonnaroo SuperJam, the perennial festival highlight under his direction that always delivered historic moments and surprises. These once-in-a-lifetime all-star collaborations reimagine classic songs and are the shows of our musical dreams. The two All IN 2022 Dream Sets will honor the music of both Tom Petty and The Allman Brothers Band.
The Dreamset lineup for the second night of the festival announced today includes a hand picked selection of unique artists who will gather on September 4 for the Tom Petty Dreamset. The artists performing will include the full band Dawes and also feature Matt Shultz and Daniel Tichenor (Cage the Elephant) - vocalist and bassist, John Oates (Daryl Hall & John Oates) - guitar and vocals, Rick Mitarotonda (Goose) - lead guitarist and vocalist, Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk, Keith Richards & The Expensive Winos) - multi-instrumentalist and singer/ songwriter, Jenny Lewis - singer/songwriter and musician, Nicki Bluhm - singer/songwriter and more special guest surprises.
The Dreamset lineup for the first night (Sept 3rd) of the festival was announced previously and also includes an amazing roster of musicians that have been assembled to perform a full show of classic songs by the Allman Brothers Band including family members, former band members and more. The artists performing include Chuck Leavell (Rolling Stones, Allman Brothers Band, Sea Level) - piano and vocals, Duane Betts (Allman Betts Band and Duane Betts and the Pistoleers, Dickey Betts & Great Southern) - guitar and vocals, JoJo Hermann and Sunny Ortiz (Widespread Panic) - organ/keyboards, vocals and percussion, Berry Oakley Jr. (Allman Betts Band) - bass and vocals, Rod Mogenstein (Dixie Dregs, Winger) - drums, Gerry Hansen (legendary studio musician) - drums, and Johnny Stachela (Allman Betts Band) - guitar and vocals and also featuring Steve Morse (Deep Purple, Dixie Dregs, Kansas) - guitar, Bill Nershi (String Cheese Incident) - guitar, Samantha Fish - guitar and more very special guests. “We curated All IN to celebrate the power of great songs played live by amazing performers in an awesome environment. There is pure joy created in those moments. These Dreamsets are the purest form of that idea -- world class artists, stepping into new territory to celebrate the songs we all know and creating a special experience that we will all share together. With major surprises in the works these Dreamsets will be special moments in music history,” said All IN Music & Arts Festival co-founder and Dreamset curator Paul Peck.
