Legendary singer, songwriter, and guitarist Bonnie Raitt is heading back on the road for her fourth consecutive year of touring, just months after receiving one of the highest honors in the arts: recognition as part of the Kennedy Center’s 47th Class of Honorees. Following a remarkable run of sold-out performances across the U.S., Canada, and overseas, Raitt and her world-class band will once again bring their signature blend of blues, rock, and roots music to theaters and amphitheaters across the country.
“I’m looking forward to having my longtime pal and one of my favorite artists, blues legend Jimmie Vaughan & The Tilt-A-Whirl Band be our special guests for the late Summer tour," Raitt shared. "We’ve shared many gigs and duets over the years but never as a 'double trouble' co-bill. Bound to be some good blues rockin’ going on—can’t wait to hit the road together!” Vaughan added, "Thrilled to play some shows with my talented friend Bonnie Raitt and her band! It’s been a long time coming! Myself and The Tilt-A-Whirl Band are excited to be part of this great tour.”
Raitt, a thirteen-time GRAMMY winner, earned her 31st GRAMMY nomination in December for Best American Roots Performance with her contribution to "Nothing In Rambling," a standout track on the Fabulous Thunderbirds’ latest album Struck Down, which is also nominated for Best Traditional Blues Album.

Bonnie Raitt has been a musical force for over five decades, blending blues, R&B, rock, and pop with her signature slide guitar and emotive vocals. After two decades as a cult favorite, she skyrocketed to mainstream success in the early 1990s with Nick of Time and Luck of the Draw, which included the hits "Something to Talk About" and "I Can’t Make You Love Me." A Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, she was named one of Rolling Stone’s "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" and "100 Greatest Singers of All Time."
Her most recent album, Just Like That..., released in 2022 on her independent label, Redwing Records, debuted at No. 1 on six Billboard charts and stayed at No. 1 on the Americana Radio Album Chart for ten consecutive weeks. The title track won Song of the Year at the 65th GRAMMY Awards, where Raitt also won Best American Roots Song and Best Americana Performance.
Beyond her music, Raitt has been a steadfast advocate for environmental protection, social justice, and artists' rights. She co-founded Musicians United for Safe Energy (MUSE) and The Rhythm and Blues Foundation, working tirelessly for royalty reform and recognition of pioneering R&B artists.
Four-time GRAMMY winner Jimmie Vaughan has been a champion of the blues for nearly 60 years. Influenced by blues greats like B.B. King, Muddy Waters, and Albert King, Vaughan helped shape the modern blues landscape, first with The Fabulous Thunderbirds and later as a solo artist. His collaborations with his late brother Stevie Ray Vaughan and his deep dedication to keeping the blues alive have solidified his status as a true musical legend.
