After an impressive 17-year run, Camp Euforia, one of Iowa’s longest running independent music festivals will host its final acts this summer. The last blast celebration will be held July 16-18, 2020 on the treasured land of Jerry’s Farm in Lone Tree, Iowa.
The band made the announcement on social media:
A whirlwind of emotions surrounds us as we announce the final year for Camp Euforia. Seventeen years ago, not one of us knew of the magic that would become of Jerry’s Farm.
In the years that followed, this fan appreciation party came to represent so much more than a group of Eufórquestra fans getting together for a good time. Jerry’s Farm is our roots, it’s the land that built everlasting friendships and celebrated the creative energy of hundreds of musicians in the Midwest and across the country.
Planning and producing a festival of this scale is no easy feat. It is a monumental effort that we’ve been able to accomplish each year with an unbelievable support system and volunteers. We’ve always set our standards high and put a ton of energy into producing a festival that we can all be proud of. With that in mind, we’ve made the difficult decision to take a step back. We feel like it is time to close the CE chapter on a high note in order to be able to focus our creative energy on other passions and pursuits.
We are planning an epic celebration for the 2020 fest. We’ll have a lineup jam-packed with CE alum that have helped make the festival what it is today. We can’t wait for Jerry’s Farm to be overflowing with the love of all of our friends and family. #CE17 is about to be a party we will never forget.
See ya out on the farm this summer!
Eric Quiner, Mike Tallman, Austin Zaletel and Matt Wright
