A CELEBRATION OF MUSIC SPANNING SIX DECADES
Chicago is the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six consecutive decades. Their enduring legacy is underscored by numerous iconic hits, including “25 or 6 to 4,” “Saturday In The Park,” and “Feelin’ Stronger Every Day.” With more than 100 million records sold, 21 Top 10 singles, and five consecutive Number One albums, Chicago is a true musical institution that has toured every year since forming in 1967.
In 2024, the band released CHICAGO AT THE JOHN F. KENNEDY CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS, WASHINGTON, D.C. (9/16/1971), an expansive 26-track live collection capturing their early magic. This followed the 2023 release of CHICAGO GREATEST CHRISTMAS HITS, combining fan-favorite holiday tracks from three beloved Christmas albums. Their 38th studio album, BORN FOR THIS MOMENT (2022), featured the hit single “If This is Goodbye” and showcased the signature horns, multilayered harmonies, and world-class arrangements that have been enthralling audiences for nearly six decades.
THE LAST BAND ON STAGE & LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENTS
In fall 2022, Gravitas Ventures released The Last Band on Stage, a documentary directed by Peter Curtis Pardini and narrated by longtime friend and actor Joe Mantegna. It chronicles how Chicago—at 57 years old as a band—was the last group performing in the United States on March 14, 2020, before pandemic lockdowns began. Despite the global challenges, the band persisted, reinforcing their legacy of unstoppable creativity and resilience.
Chicago’s achievements include:
- Lifetime Achievement Award from the Recording Academy (GRAMMYs)
- Induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2016)
- GRAMMY Hall of Fame induction of their debut album, Chicago Transit Authority (2014)
- Founding Artists of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
- Over 25 platinum albums and a total of 48 gold and platinum awards
Robert Lamm and James Pankow were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame (2017), and James Pankow received the 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Trombone Association.
BAND LINEUP & 2025 TOUR
In 2025, Chicago marks 58 consecutive years of touring—a distinction few bands can claim. Original members Robert Lamm (keyboards, vocals), Lee Loughnane (trumpet, vocals), and James Pankow (trombone) continue to lead this dynamic group, joined by Wally Reyes, Jr. (drums), Tony Obrohta (guitar), Loren Gold (keyboards, vocals), Ray Herrmann (sax, flute), Neil Donell (vocals), Eric Baines (bass), and Ramon "Ray" Yslas (percussion).
The band’s concerts are celebrations of their greatest hits, new material, and the classic Chicago horn section that remains instantly recognizable to fans across the globe.
