Since 2009, DeadPhish Orchestra has been making waves all over the U.S. from their landlocked home state of Colorado with their innovative mashups of the music of the Grateful Dead and Phish. On Saturday, July 22, as Phish settles in for their 13-night run of shows at Madison Square Garden, DPO will help kick off the festivities with an afternoon boat cruise, featuring 2 sets of live music, on Manhattan’s East River. The Jewel leaves from the Skyport Marina (23rd St. & the East River) at 2pm, returning at 5pm, with plenty of time for Phish fans to get themselves over to MSG for the show.
