Last week, celebrated folk-rock band DISPATCH announced their Summer Tour 2025 alongside John Butler (with band) + special guests G. Love & Special Sauce, Donavon Frankenreiter and Illiterate Light on select dates. The mammoth 35-date outing is on sale now - PRESS HERE for tickets and more information. The tour kicks off June 3 in St. Augustine, Florida, and will make stops in major markets including Chicago, New York City, Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco and more (full routing can be found below).

The band is celebrating tour launch with the surprise release of “Trinket” (ft. John Butler) – a dynamic, genre-blending track that features buoyant guitar riffs and lush, layered vocal harmonies. John Butler’s signature guitar work combined with the subtle use of synths and that driving DISPATCH energy creates the perfect hypnotic jam – PRESS HERE to listen.

“I was reading an illustrated book of poems by Emily Dickinson that we got at the West Tisbury School used book sale on Martha’s Vineyard,” said Chadwick Stokes. “I was struck by her poem about Autumn - it fit well with this simple riff and reggae song we were messing around with. Before I read the poem - the chorus of the song was ‘stoop so low’ but that’s all I had. The song had a built-in solo section which is kind of rare for us ... but it made it a candidate as far as asking John to join us on the tune. We’ve always loved John’s Weissenborn guitar playing and wanted to emulate the British blues players who played on The Wailers’ Catch a Fire. John’s been a good friend for so long, so it was a great opportunity to make it happen.”

The band also recently released their new single, “Yellow Jacket,” a sentimental track about Stokes’ upbringing on the farm and all of the antics he and his brothers would get into. The reflective lyrics are coupled with a sound that harkens back to early DISPATCH and their infectious blend of reggae and roots rock. PRESS HERE to listen, and stay tuned for more announcements in the coming weeks.

DISPATCH – formed by Chadwick Stokes and Brad Corrigan while in college in Vermont – have forged their own path outside the mainstream music industry as one of independent rock’s most indelible acts over the last two-and-a-half decades. Over the course of a slew of acclaimed studio and live albums and countless tours and festivals, the band has gone on to become one of biggest success stories in music history without any traditional radio or major label support. The five piece continues to grow and push their boundaries, taking surprise turns without ever abandoning the signature sound. Throughout their rise, DISPATCH has taken every opportunity to use their success for good, launching charitable organizations to fight poverty and mass incarceration, raising funds and awareness for environmental causes, schools and hospitals on the road, and even traveling as far afield as Nicaragua and Zimbabwe to work with children and communities in need.
