A multigenerational lineup of Grateful Dead disciples and New Orleans music legends will come together on Thursday, May 1 at The Joy Theater for “A Dream We Dreamed: A New Orleans Tribute to Phil Lesh.” This special, one-night-only concert event will celebrate the spirit of Phil Lesh’s music and lasting influence, bringing together a roster of world-class musicians for an unforgettable performance.

Featuring artists from some of the most acclaimed rock and funk groups of the past half-century—including members of The Meters, moe., The Disco Biscuits, Dumpstaphunk, Trey Anastasio Band, Dead & Company, and more—this eclectic ensemble will deliver a powerhouse set filled with classic tunes and imaginative collaborations. Performers scheduled to appear include Vinnie Amico (moe.), Duane Betts, Nicki Bluhm, Rob Derhak (moe.), Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band), Eric Krasno, Ross James, Jay Lane (Dead & Company), Aron Magner (The Disco Biscuits), Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk), George Porter Jr. (The Meters), Karina Rykman, and Al Schnier (moe.).

The show is set to take place in the midst of Jazz Fest’s vibrant musical landscape, making it a can’t-miss gathering for longtime Grateful Dead fans and New Orleans music lovers alike.
