On April 5, 2025, Gasoline Lollipops will ignite a night of awareness, empathy, and truth at the Bluebird Theater. Through the power of music and community, the band aims to offer a moment of clarity, unity, and healing—where confusion, rage, and fear can briefly give way to connection, dance, and solidarity.

"As important as it is to acknowledge the challenges of our time, it is equally necessary to rise above them and reach for the light," says Clay Rose of Gasoline Lollipops. "May we do so not with blame and division, but with gratitude and a celebration of life—because sometimes, we’ve got to dance to keep from crying."

This will be Gasoline Lollipops’ biggest headlining show in the Denver metro area so far this year, and they are thrilled to welcome Extra Gold as the opening act. In addition to the music, the band has partnered with local immigrant rights nonprofit Casa de Paz to help raise funds in support of immigrants' rights in Denver.

Gasoline Lollipops stitch scraps of American roots music to patches of their own tattered hearts to form an all-new tapestry of bleeding rock ‘n’ roll.

Frontman Clay Rose was raised between an outlaw, truck-driving father in the mountains of Colorado and a songwriting mama in the sticks outside of Nashville, Tennessee. Clay’s penchant for open roads and troublemaking forms the backbone of the Gas Pops' sound. The rest of the band consists of Don Ambory, Scott Coulter, ‘Bad’ Brad Morse, and Kevin Matthews, who all come equipped with music degrees from Chicago, Boston, Jacksonville, and Denver, respectively. Each adds flavors from their own background and heritage, further diversifying the band’s signature sound.

Gasoline Lollipops are three-time winners of Colorado Daily’s "Best Local Band" award, two-time winners of Denver Westword’s "Best Country Band" award, and winners of Colorado Sound’s 2022 "Colorado Spirit" and "Band You’d Drive 105.5 Miles To See" awards. Over the last several years, they have toured throughout the U.S., Belgium, the Netherlands, and Belize.

Today, the Gas Pops continue to bend genres and electrify live audiences with ferocious sincerity.
