Leading up to their show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 26th, Grammy-nominated bluegrass genre-benders The Infamous Stringdusters are taking over the Denver area’s local food scene with menu collaborations and giveaways sure to make even the most passive fan crack a smile. Named Denver’s “Best Chicken Wings” three times over by Westword, Fire On The Mountain is rolling out a special “Pearl Of Carolina” sauce—named after a track from the Stringdusters’ recently released Toward the Fray—through the month of May. The wing specialists are also hosting an in-store promo to win a pair of tickets for the Dusters’ appearance at Red Rocks with The California Honeydrops and supporting act Karina Rykman.

“Fire on the Mountain is beyond excited to do this cross collaboration with our friends The Dusters for their epic show at Red Rocks. FOTM’s foundation is music and food. In fact, our roots were started by slingin’ Spicy Peanuts in the lots of venues where our favorite bands were playing. Making connections with our food and favorite music has quickly become our new love language, and we are so stoked to dig-in with The Dusters and dance the night away,” says brand manager Lauren Larkin.

But that’s not all, as Bridge and Tunnel Restaurant Group have gotten clever with a few menu items across their four Denver restaurant families as well. Rosenberg’s, Lou’s, Famous J’s, and Sherry’s Soda Shoppe will have a specialty menu item cooked up just for Stringdusters fans city-wide. If the good eats weren’t enough, order one of these themed menu items to receive a scratch-off card for a chance to win a variety of prizes.

“These [types of] collaborations are the bread and butter of everything we do—especially when it comes to the music and local scene that thrives on it,” shared Ariel Rosemberg, member of the Dusters’ management and label teams. “There’s something to be said about the existing food and drink scene here in Denver, so coming up with these like-minded partnerships, plus those with Station 26 Brewing, Arapahoe Basin and more was sort of a slam dunk!”

Tickets for Red Rocks are still available, but going fast, and can be purchased at this link or at the Red Rocks Box Office (open only on event days).

All of this exciting news is coming hot on the heels of The Infamous Stringdusters’ new release, Toward the Fray. Already embraced by fans and critics alike, you can read what No Depression and Garden & Gun had to say about the release or check out fresh performances of some of these new Duster songs from NPR’s Free At Noon concert series at World Cafe in Philadelphia.
