Higher Ground Presents and Grace Potter’s Grand Point North music festival are partnering with City Market for a special raffle to help those in need through the work of the Vermont Foodbank. Starting on Thursday, August 1st at 3pm, a donation link will be live on the City Market website that will allow people to purchase a $5 donation entry "ticket". The Vermont Foodbank will receive 100% of every $5 donation.

One winner and a guest will receive VIP passes to Grand Point North at Waterfront Park in Burlington, VT on September 14 and 15 as well as two nights accommodations at the Courtyard Burlington Harbor Hotel, and dinner for two at Juniper. In addition, the winner will also receive a prize pack from some of Vermont's top B Corporations including: Cabot Cheddar, Ben & Jerry's, King Arthur Flour, 7th Generation, Lake Champlain Chocolates, Vermont Creamery and Rhino Foods.

“As Grace Potter's hometown festival, Grand Point North strives to maintain a local focus, with each year's lineup featuring up and coming musicians from the region,” said Kim Neaton of Higher Ground Presents. “In furthering this local mindset, the raffle will raise funds to help many people throughout Vermont that rely on a foodbank to feed themselves and their families.”

“City Market is proud to partner with Higher Ground and Grace Potter to help bring attention to the great work being done at the Vermont Foodbank,” said Mae Quilty of City Market, Onion River Co-op. “Our shoppers and members know that we rely on each other to bolster our community and that our local food system is strongest when all Vermonters have access to healthy food.”

Vermont Foodbank works to gather and share quality food and nurture partnerships so that no one in Vermont will go hungry. In Vermont, 1 in 4 people struggles with hunger. Donations will be accepted through 11:59pm on August 18th. One winner will be chosen at random on August 20th from all names that donate.

Grand Point North takes place September 14th and 15th at Burlington's Waterfront Park. The festival features music from Grace Potter, Gov't Mule, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, and many more.
