On June 9th, 2017, the Industrial Hemp Research Foundation will host a fun, educational event to celebrate the 8th Annual Hemp History Week, a national grassroots education campaign taking place from June 5-11, 2017, which aims to renew support for hemp farming in the United States. This year’s campaign theme is Breaking Ground, which focuses on how regenerative hemp farming, hemp foods, and other hemp products provide sustainability solutions for the next generation.
'Grateful Hearts Unite for Hemp’ is a pre-party celebration before Friday’s Dead & Company concert at Folsom Field in Boulder. This event and fundraiser will highlight the Industrial Hemp Research Foundation, a local 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to supporting industrial hemp research programs at institutions of higher learning and education in Colorado and universities across America.
Hemp History Week will feature a national retailer and event programming with over 2,000 participating stores, community events, restaurant, and hemp product sampling. The campaign will also feature a Take Action component, to encourage Congress to change federal policy by passing the Industrial Hemp Farming Act, and allow American farmers to once again grow industrial hemp.
'Grateful Hearts Unite for Hemp’ is open to the public. Tickets are available online at http://bit.ly/gratefulhemp
