GRAMMY Award-winning progressive bluegrass band The Infamous Stringdusters close out another active year with several key announcements: an upcoming East Coast run of tour dates slated for March 2025, a brand-new gold-colored variant of their Dust the Halls holiday album, and continued chart success as their newly released cover EP, Undercover, Vol. 3, remains at #8 on the Billboard Bluegrass Album Charts.
Per tradition, the group will kick off 2024 by embarking on their annual “Ski Dust” tour, visiting mountain towns in Colorado and Utah. Leading up to their appearance at the Suwannee Spring Reunion, they will perform six newly announced East Coast shows in Saratoga Springs, NY; Harrisburg, PA; Westhampton Beach, NY; Hartford, CT; Roswell, GA; and Mount Vernon, KY, immediately following the festival. A full list of tour dates and VIP ticket packages can be found HERE.
Originally released in 2020, The Infamous Stringdusters’ holiday album, Dust the Halls, has become a modern staple, featuring classic holiday tunes arranged on acoustic instruments with signature 'Dusters flair. This year, the band unveils a brand-new gold vinyl variant—making it a perfect, enduring gift—featuring 10 timeless favorites like “The First Noel,” “Jingle Bells,” and “Oh Holy Night.” Order the new variant at the Americana Vibes shop HERE.
2024 also brought studio success with last month’s release of their third covers EP, Undercover, Vol. 3. Following the tradition of their previous five-song curated sets—each track selected by a different band member—this collection reimagines classics from The Grateful Dead, Phish, Avicii, and more, blending bluegrass mastery with inventive, modern twists. The EP debuted at #8 on Billboard’s Bluegrass Album Charts, earned praise from Blue Ridge Outdoors and Denver Westword, and remains in KGNU’s Top 30. Listen to Undercover, Vol. 3 HERE.
